Pex-B pipe is made of a cross-linked polyethylene. This production method of silane cross-linking provided Pex-B pipe with a superior chemical and mechanical performance.
- Chlorine Resistance: Class 5; the highest level.
- UV Resistance: 1 month.
- Maximum Working Pressure: 160 psi @ 73.4°F (23°C) - 100 psi @ 180°F (82°C) - 80 psi @ 200° F (93°C).
- Standard & Approvals: Streamway Pex-B pipe meets the standard of CSA B137.5; ASTM E84; ASTM 876 and ASTM 877. It is listed to NSF/ANSI 61 by NSF for use in potable water systems.
