AC/DC Voltage Detector - 24V to 600V AC / 12V to 600V DC

The IDEAL AC and DC Voltage Detector is a useful tool for voltage measurement. It features probes for testing and utilizes a series of 8 neon lights to display the voltage, with the lights illuminating gradually as the voltage increases. The tester is capable of automatically selecting AC voltage within the range of 24 to 600 V and DC voltage from 12 to 600 V. Furthermore, it provides polarity indication for DC voltage and issues a warning for voltages exceeding 48 V AC or DC.

The voltage tester features a built-in probe holder at the back, enabling convenient storage and easy access for tests or measurements. With this design, it's possible to hold the detector and probe in one hand, leaving the other hand free to manipulate power outlets. Alternatively, both probes can be securely stored in the holder during testing.

The device is UL CAT III 600V certified, guaranteeing user safety when measuring currents up to 600 V AC/DC. It also has an IP42 ingress protection rating offering protection against solid objects larger than 1mm and water drops falling at an angle of up to 15° from the vertical.
